Boy Scouts participate in many activities that further these basic goals, and are provided a safe environment in which they can have fun. Camping and hiking are part of the experience, as is rock climbing, rafting, canoeing, computers, skiing, snowboarding and many more activities that interest today's youth. Boys learn basic skills, gaining knowledge and leadership experience as they advance in rank. The ultimate goal of all Scouts is to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, a difficult but achievable goal.
